Description
This lavender honey comes from the hives right here on our farm.
The bees are a welcome part of the B&B family, which we now care for and harvest the 100% raw, natural honey ourselves. Kristy is our beekeeper and does an excellent job keeping these bees happy!
The bees can travel within a 5 mile radius of our farm and the lavender is not the only thing blooming around here so the honey has a very subtle lavender flavor (mixed with all the other amazing blooms of the Olympic Peninsula). We do not infuse it, the honey goes straight from our hives into our jars.
Honey is a natural product and will crystalize below a certain temperature. However, it is still perfectly delicious and the jar is best warmed in a pot of of hot water (rather than the microwave) so as not to deteriorate the beneficial qualities of raw, natural honey.
Our honey is a great addition to many of our lavender recipes.
*Due to our low honey yields of 2022, we have limited each order to ONE jar per order. We apologize for any tears or general disappointment this may cause. We’re just trying to share the amazingness with as many folks as possible.
