Lavender hydrosol is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial (similar to the essential oil, in a more diluted state). There are a variety of uses ranging from household cleaners to facial toner. The smell differs slightly from the essential oil and can be described as having a more earthy scent. It is often compared to the smell of witch hazel with a sweeter undertone.
You can choose from two options. We combine all our varieties within the angustifolia (English) species or the intermedia (French) species together to create the two lavender hydrosols. They have slightly different smell profiles but will both carry antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
The lavender hydrosol comes in either a 16-ounce bottle or a 4 oz spray. It can easily be combined with other ingredients.
