Lavender Hydrosol

*** PLEASE NOTE – Our supplier has stopped producing our 32oz bottles.  We have adjusted the volumes and pricing accordingly, but the photos still show 32oz bottles.  We are working on updating those images but are in the middle of the harvest season.  It may be a few weeks before the images are updated.  Thank you for your patience.  The hydrosol is the same great hydrosol you love, just in smaller containers.***

100% Pure Lavender Hydrosol is a byproduct of essential oil distillation; a subtle lavender-smelling distilled water that can be used for a variety of purposes.

100% Pure Lavender Hydrosol is a byproduct of essential oil distillation; a subtle lavender-smelling distilled water (visit the farm for a demonstration). We do all our own essential oil distillation on the farm, producing both the lavender essential oil and the hydrosol.

Lavender hydrosol is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial (similar to the essential oil, in a more diluted state). There are a variety of uses ranging from household cleaners to facial toner. The smell differs slightly from the essential oil and can be described as having a more earthy scent. It is often compared to the smell of witch hazel with a sweeter undertone.

You can choose from two options. We combine all our varieties within the angustifolia (English) species or the intermedia (French) species together to create the two lavender hydrosols.  They have slightly different smell profiles but will both carry antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

The lavender hydrosol comes in either a 16-ounce bottle or a 4 oz spray. It can easily be combined with other ingredients.
