There are a lot of great downtown stores, coffee shops, and places to eat. There are nearby parks with free Summer concerts and local museums to explore.
Olympic National Park – hiking along the Dungeness River
Olympic Discovery Trail walk or rent a bike from Ben’s Bikes and use local bike maps
Visit the Dungeness River Audubon Center and walk more of the Discovery Trail.
Drive through Olympic Game Farm, visit the petting area and have a picnic. Travel safari style through the zebras, llamas, buffalo, bears, elk and deer. You can even feed some animals from your car windows!
Sequim is a great place to see a variety of birds from Bald Eagles and hawks to quail and sapsuckers. The Audobon center has all the information you need to see the best birds the peninsula has to offer.

Hike the Dungeness Spit, part of the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and visit a working lighthouse or be a Lighthouse Keeper for a week.
