You can’t come to the Peninsula without a visit to the Olympic National Park. The diversity of ecosystems and range in elevation and precipitation make for stunning scenery and an experience not to be missed. A trip to the top of Hurricane Ridge takes about 30 minutes from Port Angeles
2. Kayaking and Canoeing

3. The Pier and Feiro Marine Life Center
Home to many events and activities, including the Crab Festival, Summer music performances, a great sandy beach, a viewing tower, summer yoga sessions, access to the Olympic Discovery Trail , and awesome touch tanks at the Marine Life Center. In addition you are walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the Port Angeles downtown area.
4. Fine Art Center and Art Park
Originally a private residence, the architecture itself is an attraction and the rotating exhibitions are always intriguing. The outdoor Art Park is like non other, with hidden treasures to explore and experience.

With young children the Marymere Falls hike is perfect! It is only a .8 mile hike from Storm King Ranger Station where there is plenty of parking to a beautiful waterfall

8.Black Ball Ferry Ride to Victoria
Walk or drive on for a 90-minute ride on the Coho Ferry through the Strait of Juan de Fuca with stunning views of the Olympic Peninsula on your way to Victoria Canada.
While they may not grow the grapes, they sure know what to do with them! Plus most of the grapes come from Washington. Tasting rooms, events and very knowledgeable staff.
10. Salt Creek
Less than 30 minutes from downtown Port Angles to experience tide pools, camping, hiking, picnic shelter, playground and beautiful scenery. The Salt Creek Recreation area is worth the short drive out of town.
