1. The Olympic National Park

You can’t come to the Peninsula without a visit to the Olympic National Park. The diversity of ecosystems and range in elevation and precipitation make for stunning scenery and an experience not to be missed.  A trip to the top of Hurricane Ridge takes about 30 minutes from Port Angeles

2. Kayaking and Canoeing

Experience the Peninsula from the water (or a bicycle).  If you need equipment and experts check out Adventures Through Kayaking  or Sound Bikes and Kayaks .  At both places you will talk to knowledgeable and skilled guides to enhance your adventure.

3. The Pier and Feiro Marine Life Center

Home to many events and activities, including the Crab Festival, Summer music performances, a great sandy beach, a viewing tower, summer yoga sessions, access to the Olympic Discovery Trail , and awesome touch tanks at the Marine Life Center.  In addition you are walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the Port Angeles downtown area.

5. Downtown Port Angeles

The Port Angeles downtown is quaint but filled with hidden gems!  Check out the Underground Tour ,  grab a bite to eat at Next Door Gastropub or New Day Eatery.  My personal favorite is to  grab beers from the most diverse beer selection in town at Angles Brewing Supplies and Taproom. Work it all off at Avail Fit with exciting, fun and unique workout experiences. Explore two fantastic book stores at  Odyssey Book Shop and Port Book and News.  Wake up with coffee from Bada Coffee Bar. Visit our bustling  Farmers Market (Saturdays 10-2 ).

Experience Olympic, Elwha Dam, Madison Creek Falls, Marymere Falls.

Learn from the professionals at Experience Olympic or explore on your own. Either way, you will see beauty.

With young children the Marymere Falls hike is perfect!  It is only a .8 mile hike from Storm King Ranger Station where there is plenty of parking to a beautiful waterfall

While they may not grow the grapes, they sure know what to do with them! Plus most of the grapes come from Washington. Tasting rooms, events and very knowledgeable staff.
