There are flowers peeking out and green things are sprouting! I think I even see some green on those lavender plants. We are excited about what this next season will bring. We’ve been busy mixing up new products, planning for new opportunities of growth and watching babies grow (person babies…the lavender babies have been dormant through the winter).
Zion continues to add interesting content and great lavender information to the website. We are thrilled that people are finding us and placing orders! As always, we welcome your feedback relating to the website and the products. We hope to fill the website with useful resources, topics, and products that make your life easier, simpler, or just more enjoyable.
Bonnie and Kristy have been trying to get ahead of the game on products, labels and organizing the work room. We continue to learn and improve our products and practices. We plan to open the Shoppe here at the farm on May 1 and that is quickly approaching.
We are participating in our first garden show here in Sequim. It is the 18th Annual Soroptimist Gala Garden Show on March 19th and 20th. We’ll have a booth along with about 50 other garden-related businesses. Stop by if you’re in the area and say hello. We’ll have some smiles and discounts for you!
The other exciting event that is coming up is the first Washington Lavender Association meeting. We have been a part of forming this new group in hopes of including all lavender businesses in the state of Washington to promote and support all things lavender. We are looking forward to what this new opportunity might bring.
And so as the days get longer, so does our to-do list. We embrace the upcoming challenges, opportunities, and baby laughs!
