Woof Wash – A Lavender Dog Wash

Share

Description

We created Woof Wash – a lavender dog wash, because we have a dog and we live in the Pacific Northwest. If you know, you know… Our dog Melba, loves to be outside and loves to snuggle. Those two things don’t always work together when it rains frequently and you don’t like smelling like a wet dog. So in our efforts to better this situation for ourselves, we hope that our solution will also bring more nice-smelling dog snuggles to you as well. This is a gentle formula without an overpowering fragrance. It leaves Melba’s coat feeling super soft and helps keep the dry skin away. Although it has not changed her dislike of water, we find she is more calm for baths than she used to be. We use our lavender essential oil, distilled from the variety Super (hence the name Super Woof Wash!). It has slightly less camphor than the more well-known variety, Grosso and we thing works perfectly with the cedarwood and lemongrass essential oils.

Lavender is not recommended for cats according to some research. Please use with caution and keep out of eyes, ears and noses.
